Does anyone have any feedback on sound/loudness with installing these on a car with a cam and long tubes? Is it a nice mild tone or still pretty loud? Any updated videos or sound clips would be helpful! I'm thinking I'm ready to buy this kit. Also any pro's con's on what stainless to go with?

Any comments/pics would be helpful - thanks!

For anyone wanting to adapt this kit to Pace Setter long tubes, I was able to do it with a couple straight pieces of 2 1/2" OD pipe stretched to 3" ID at one end. Cost me less than $10 at a local muffler shop and didn't require any of the pieces of the kit to be hacked up, which I think could come in handy if you ever decide to sell the kit. I'll post pics when I get a chance.

Here is a quick idle vid of my car. Kit has been adapted to fit Hooker Longtubes on my LT car.

I love mine. I went from TSP Dumped 3" duals to this system, and i couldn't be happier. After I put a cam in my car, it was stupid loud with the TSP system, and this toned it down quite a bit. It has a deep throaty sound. Reminds me of an old muscle car. I adapted it to Pacesetter long tubes, and as indicated above by someone else, I too didn't hack up the kit, in case I ever wanted to sell it down the road. I went with the 400 series stainless system, mainly because my car sees very little rain, and absolutely no snow or salt, so for me it wasn't worth buying the 304 stainless system.

I can actually drive my car through a parking garage without setting off car alarms now!

I'm absolutely in love with the idea of this system, and it will be my next purchase for sure. The thing I'm caught on right now is the decision of the cheaper 1-7/8th mid lengths or the more expensive 1-7/8th long tubes. I have stock 243s milled .010 and a 226/236 110LSA GMPP ASA cam on lazy lobes, amongst the other usual bolt ons for my '02 WS6. Cheaper is always a plus, but I don't want to kill too much power switching to mid lengths from my current 1-7/8th TSP LTs with a dumped X. I also live in Iowa, but only drive the car in fair weather and very rarely rain, but it sits outside under a carport in the humidity, so I can't pick between the 304SS and the 409SS.

Also, does anyone have pictures or first hand experience with ground clearance using the Blackheart longtubes? I plan to drop the car using strano springs sometime in the near future.

I ordered this exhaust system on 4/10/2017. It has been back ordered numerous times. It has been pushed back to 6/23/2017 as of last notice a couple of days ago. FYI

Too many exhaust systems on the market place to wait 11 weeks on anything.

Not enough dual systems on the market that are comparable to this one.

This is a 13K mile 2000 Camaro SS, no internal mods. SLP Lid and that is it. Full Hooker Blackheart exhaust.

321 HP to the rear wheels.

(The file is pretty big, so takes a minute to load)

I see they have pushed back the estimated ship date to July now. I ordered in early June. I hope they don't compromise quality in the effort to speed up production.

Would buy again in a heartbeat even with the other options that are out now from other companies.

My only complain remains the tips. I have to figure out a way to get larger tips back there for my WS6. It just doesn't look right with such tiny openings after having quad 4" tips on a previous setup. It doesn't change my feelings or decisions however.

This is also my only complaint with the system, I have some ideas on how to make my old 4.5" Corsa Clones fit and once I have some more time to mess with it I will post up photos of what I did to get it to fit.

I think I am going to have to cut back the extension coming off of the muffler and do some pie cuts to make a jog over pipe but shouldnt be to bad

My duals shipped today, still no shipping on the headers however. I will put up a before and after dyno results going from my dumped 3" X pipe with TSP 1-7/8 LTs, to these duals with the Blackheart 1-7/8 LTs. Both tuned by the same tuner. I will also do my best to get a good comparison in sound, both idle and various driving sounds. Hopefully the headers get here sooner rather than later.

Well received my 409 stainless setup yesterday and went to start installing today. Just realized that I am missing a whole pipe. It is the one on the bottom left. It is for the driver side with a elbow and two flat spots. Does anyone know the exact name for that pipe so I can call and explain it to Holley tomorrow? Very disappointed and frustrated.

Well called Holley yesterday morning. Got a tech on the phone. He was very helpful and told me he was going to get someone to pull a kit off the shelf and mail me that one pipe. Hopefully I will get it early next week so I can start adapting it to the longtubes. I have the exhaust in place now. I really like the quality of the hangers and the whole system in general.

You'll have to post up a startup video with it on. I'm still waiting on my Blackheart longtubes to become available and shipped to me. I can't wait to get it installed.

Yeah man I will definitely make a video. Well turns out that they ran out of stock on my particular system so they had to make a new pipe just for me. Tracking shows it getting delivered tomorrow. So hopefully I can get it all buttoned up after work. Haven't driven the car in a month and just installed subframe connectors and rear control arms so I am real anxious!

Anybody from Hooker/Holley on here who can chat to me about potentially getting one of these true duals over to the UK for a reasonable price?

Toddoky seems to be the Hooker/Holley guy on this forum, but is in product development, so not sure he can help you with exportation of their goods
