Thanks, yea it has a cam, it is a new cam profile that the WS6 Store just released. It is a high lift version of the original GM hot cam. I love it! I had the GM cam before and this one drives so much better along with more power.

I recently installed this cat back in another f-body a couple weeks ago and yeah, we had to tweak the passenger side hanger and bend it over slightly for everything to line up like it should. A little hammer persuasion to the hanger took care of it. I didn't have to do this on the first car I did but the 2nd one did require it.

We are also looking into hanger options for the tips for additional support in the future. Using an impact on the band clamps, I've had no issues on mine but not everyone has access to that. Plus it just makes sense.

Like I said waiting on the parts. Hopefully they arrive this weekend and I'll post a before and after the install. FYI right now the LT's & ORY is going through the stock cat back.

I have the exhaust setup you are going to and it sounds awesome. There is a video on youtube of a green Camaro with the catback and mine sounds pretty much identical to that one so it should give you an idea of the sound.

Here you go. The closed cutout posted above sounds pretty close as well. Mine seems to cackle and pop on over revs just a little more than these but otherwise spot on.

I have this cat back on my 02 WS6 right now with the stock manifolds and a Dynomax y pipe which keeps knocking the floor board. I'm thinking of getting the speed engineering headers and y pipe to go with it. Will this fit with the speed engineering headers and y pipe? I read through this whole post and I've only seen people with TSP headers and y pipes.

I have the SE headers and y and it fit just fine. Hangs a little low mostly because of the low hanging SE y pipe. Works great though.

until speed engineering revises their y pipe i would stay away from it. Hangs lowwww. If you are stock ride height and you know for a fact you will never drop the car you will be ok but I would spend the extra 150 bucks on the TSP header/y pipe combo anyday
