Default Time For Bigger Headers?

So I currently have BBK 1 3/4 headers on my car and originally went with them because of the fitment and price point. I never thought I was going to make enough power to out grow them, but am wondering if maybe I am there.

Currently, I would think my car is making around 500fwhp (120 trap speed @ 3700lbs). I was looking at TSP 1 7/8 headers and was going to run their Rumbler dual exhaust that dumps under the car (shave some weight off).

Would it be worth the hassle to swap to bigger headers at this point? Looking for small things that will put my in the 10's on motor.

I'll stick with the BBK's for now then. I am hoping I can get my 60ft down to 1.5 from 1.69, get a SSRA type ram it setup, and gear my car correctly (4.11's w/ a 26" tire have me hitting 4th with 100ft left) and that will get me to 10.9.

Yea I'd say you need a drag radial and a ram air.

I'm switching to 342s and adding a ram air to my car hoping to pick up 1 mph and get that 60' down to 1.5s or better. Hoping for 11.1x or better

Yes. I will be getting a set before the next season starts. 28" tall will get me through the traps without hitting 4th too.

They do. They have a ball flange connection too so it limits you to pretty much their Y pipe also.

I was unaware they were 2 1/2. You would probably gain some

Would have good gains going bigger headers. Search my name for a thread I made from the switch. I have a before and after dyno. Basically I gained 20rwhp. I would even think about 2", not many here seem to use them but they work well on ls3's.
