I'm confused EO/IC
Now it developed a hollow tap. So I pulled my rockers and reseated them. I know it is possible I had a lifter collapsed but I decided to recheck my preload. When I originally put everything together useing EO/IC method w/ a known pushrod length the 7.4s I got 7 1/4 turnsfrom zero lash. Putting me at 1 3/4 turns to 22ftlb. Now I'm at a little over 1 3/4 turns.
When I originally put the motor together I read some of the stickies and followed the how to. Which stated that anything between 1-2 full turns is OK. Now I went back thru the stickies and some say that you are supposed to minus 1/3 - 1/2 turn and should be at 1 1/4 -1 1/2 full turns. With no gap between rocker arm and valve at zero lash. If this is correct my PRs mite be to short, Now I do have some gap from my roller to valve stem and at TDC I can spin my PRs but there is no wiggle to them when torqued to 22Ftlbs.
Can someone please take me to school on this matter??

I didn't use TDC or EO/IC, just made sure both lifters were on the base circle of the cam and you can do them both before moving to the next cylinder.

. I plan on putting the stock rockers on first and open my valley cover to make sure no damage done to my cam.
