Dual exhaust
I just had dual exhaust installed on my Camaro. Speed engineering headers, x pipe, and 2 flowmaster 10 series mufflers. Love the sound at idle and when I get on it, my concerns are the slight drone at cruising and how damn loud it is. Anything i can add to it to quiet it down and get rid of some of the drone? Or is there no way and I need to replace the mufflers?

1st pic is headers and flowmasters, second pic is farther down from the first pic with the x pipe then over the axle, third pic is after the axle to the tips. So it goes headers, flowmasters, then x pipe, then out

The mufflers would be far more effective at attenuating drone if they were at the back of the car and were absorption style mufflers. Their current location also has a negative effect on your ground clearance, which you are going to realize at some point while driving the car.

The 10's didnt fit after the axle, seemed like the only place to put them were up there. Ground clearence actually is very good, headers are the lowest part of all of it. What brand of resonator would be good for this? And would it quiet it down or just clean up the drone?

Don't use the 10s get rid of them , bad placement . Second it appears the intermediate pipes coming off your mufflers are double 90* this does not help either . I would recommend redoing those also. I have to commend you for going the custom route, but you need a plan . Come up with a design for the complete exhaust system. If you go to the TDs exhaust sticky here there are probably a hundred pics of TDs . or just take a look at Kooks TDs is great designed system, not that should try and copy it but if yours is radically different , rethink what your doing.

Pretty much the same as kooks, same placement besides the 10s close to the headers, because with ground clearance they dont fit anywhere else. Bullets would fit anywhere, but i heard those were bad with drone and loud also. Wondering if i could add bullets farther down somewhere if that would help or if if i have to cut the 10s out and put a bigger muffler there. I dont think swapping the 10s for bullets are going to fix anything

If it goes over the axle it has to bend like that. Same pipe routing as kooks besides the mufflers are too close to the headers is what im hearing. And placing bullets/resonators anywhere after the mufflers wont help. So ill try to find a quieter muffler that hopefully flows decent and try that i think

I had two vibrant performance resonators installed right after the x pipe, before the axle, and it quieted it down nicely. Outside of the car at idle, drive by, ect it sounds perfect. Mean and deep but not too loud. Inside the car it still is quite loud, wish there was a way to fix that. If it was a dd car i would go insane haha
