Default What the best 90mm Throttle Body?

I know FAST is supposed to have issues fitting to their own manifold, which is the lamest thing I've ever heard, but who makes the nicest 90mm TB? Accufab, TPIS, MTI...? Thanks.

I'm really pleased with the quality of my TPIS and I got it through Texas Speed which had the best price on them. MTI's 90mm T/B is made by TPIS.

Texas Speed does'nt show it on their web site but if you call them they can give the info on it, I think MTI shows it on their site so just jump on their site's over there>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Word. It says exchange basis only? What's up with that. They can't mean exchange a stock TB for a 90mm? And how would anybody have a 90mm to exchange?

Its like a core charge. theyre just gonna take your stock one and max it out and resell it. U dont have to send them a 90mm, (plus if u had one why would u be buying theres anyway.

Max it out? Can you even make a 90mm out of a stocker? Also, why are we paying $500 for a machined stocker? I think it should be brand new like the FAST unit? Hmm...?

The TPIS is a new billet T/B, the core is for the sensor that they re-use on the new 90mm T/B.

Gotcha. So do you think this 90mm LSX setup would be best for a G5X3 setup? Not too big?

The core charge is so they can use the electronics out of your stock TB for the 90mm unit. They dont actually use your stock TB to make a 90. DOH

90mm is big for a stock bottom end. Also be aware that the TPIS/MTI throttle body does not have provisions for the crankcase vent. You will also have to buy a breather set-up. The FAST comes with the provision. I have neither, but I plan on the FAST. It can be had for $100 cheaper (through group purchases) with no core charge.

What arew they doing trying to give them away now since they don't match up to their intake cosmeticly. All I did it put a small K&N filter were the old fresh are hose went from the T?B to the valve cover and it works great, the ecm already adjusted for the unmetered air that was coming in.

I said it was big, not to big. Keep an eye out in the group purchase section. T-byrne just had one. Not sure if it is still on or not.
