I've always thought that Borla Stingers sounded pretty good on Vettes. Are you just wanting to do a direct muffler replacement or have a custom setup fabbed up?

Here's a video of a Fbody running true duals and Borla Stingers. It sounds pretty good IMO.

Good question. I started out just thinking of just doing a direct replacement. And now I am looking at this as an opportunity - aka - cat back. LOL. I'd love to do a Borla cat back ... but am hearing good things about the LM1 (with stock manifolds and cat). It's also more than half the price of the Borla.

Texas speed has a new cat back that sounds pretty good with the stock manifolds and cats. When its time for a change for me I think I am going to go that route.

I think it's coming down to the Texas speed rumbler or the LM1 catback. Is the SLP 31042 the LM1? I've read that the LM1 has some rasp whereas the rumbler doesn't.... or has less.

So today I got the rumbler in. My son and I hooked up and worked together. He had a cat-back system for his `09 Maxima to install as well, which I may add sounds pretty damn good. It took us 3 hours for the two cars... then we were in the pool! I have air tools so it was cake to do. I just drove mine to work and love it! Any louder would be too loud. Thanks for the recommendations on this thread!

I have used spintec mufflers on my car and on others in the past. They sound mean and look pretty dope!

I am actually loving the TSP Rumbler on the TA. At first I wasn't sure about it ... but I have just enough attitude/chip on my shoulder to love it.
