I have a line on a real cheap 85mm MAF. It's said to work with 01-03 vettes and the caddy northstar motors. It's an AC Delco part, the part numbers are 25168491 and 2782588a.
Can someone shed some light on this, will it fit and f-body (00 WS6)?

I know some people are against bigger MAF's because of what they can do to a tune, but this is so cheap it's worth giving a shot to see how well it works.

If it's right for the '01 'Vette and Northstar, it will be
pig rich on the F-body. 'Vette, Northstar and
pickups all reference the same base Delphi MAF.
Only the Z06, post-'02 is different, descreened
and seems to not have a Delphi model number
though I guess there's a GM P/N for it. Anyway,
put this one on your F-body and you should see
a MAF rich code in a day or so.
