Default ATI balancer. .Do I have to run the ac pulley also?

Question #1 I am about to install my ati damper to my ls block and my question is do I have to install the ac pulley that came with it if Im not running ac anymore?

Question #2 Will the auto zone pulley installer work to install my ati pulley properly?

I tried searching and didn't have any luck

No you don't have to run the AC pulley on the balancer. But you still have to run the bolts in the balancer that would hold that pulley on.

I dont see how its possible to tighten the bolts because they go through the main hub freely and thread into the ac pulley. Unless you use the right size thread for the main hub which are a bit bigger than the ones that come with it to tighten down the ac pulley. I know the instructions say to use all bolts so i just went ahead and used the ac pulley.

You need a whole different hub. All 9 bolts need to be used per ATI. There a different hub for no AC. Instead of the 3 straight thru holes to bolt on the AC pulley the holes are threaded.
