Wideband advice request.
I've been contemplating adding a wideband sensor/Guage to my build before I button up my wiring harness.
I have zero knowledge on these. Mostly wondering which setup displays the most accurate and reliable readings.
Thanks.
The NTK will last 2X longer.
I bought my first one in 1984 for use with my ECU, the ONLY way they would sell me this item.
I had the sign a NDA/Use Agreement.
I have used the AFX from NGK, now acquired from bmotorsports.com, the AFX-II @ $259.00.
The PLX is also a very UEGO AMP/Gauge, this will support the 4.2, 4.9, L1H1 and L2H2.
The Innovate is the least expensive, least accurate, (reads 12:1 @ 13:1 AFR), Wide Band Device.
Thus I have used Nernst Cell devices for thirty years, the UEGO location IS affected by pressure.
My ECU-882C "reads" EMAP for correct UEGO/EGO calibration.

I've mistakenly ran the car as lean as 13.8:1 at WOT before (for numerous passes) I have serious doubts that reading was a full point more rich than actual or I surely would have damaged something or at least encountered more severe KR.
Not trying to argue just putting forth my own experience with one particular unit.

MY SF-800 bench dyno, my engine, my exhaust with TWO bungs next to each other, an observed test with another witness, the NGK Sparkplug USA manager's (from Japan) son.
My son also as they went to the same High School.
The Innovate read 12:1, the AFRM read 13:1.
The Innovate was calibrated by their method
What could have been my error ?
The Innovate method is to REMOVE the OEM calibration resistor from the UEGO sensor side harness.
Thus I wonder why Clouse thought this could work better.
