Horespower gain or no??

I have Borla and I was curious to see if anyone has found a horespower difference between that and Loudmouth...

The LM is supposed to be the BEST flowing exhaust on the market, followed by Magnaflow.... So, I guess youd see some bigger gains...

You will see gains, but not huge. possibly 5rwhp?

the LM will flow more..make more noise and be more annoying... but yea...all that means more power....

a cutout will be the ultimate cure

borla wide open flows pretty good, i cant imagine you'd see much more than a couple hp difference, not the worth the aggravation of selling/buying the catbacks imo

My buddy had an SS with a LM. And i have a WS6 with A borla. We had the same exact mods and we both dyoned.

My WS6
328 rwhp SAE

SS
318 rwhp SAE

Given I might have had more HP from stock.

Well, what year is the SS? I see you have an '02, and that is the best designed LS1....So, If your friend has an earlier LS1, like a 98, that could make the power difference also...

guys 2 bone stock cars can dyno 10-15 hp differant... thats just how it goes....
did you and your buddy dyno the same day at the same place?

I went from a LM to a Magnaflow and lost power - I have SLP LT's and ORY so the LM was NOT an option anymore - sounded HORRIBLE, but sounded great on stock manifolds/cats/Y.
