FWIW, this car WAS a turbo car, so converter, gearing, compression, etc...is far from ideal...its a street toy/bracket car now.

So here we go....

Best NA pass a week and a half ago, very similar weather, was 12.86@108

First pass today...
12.57@110
Second pass, hot lapped...
12.49@111

Street tuned for a 12.5:1 AFR at WOT

Only change is intake, throttle body and I also swapped my 60# injectors back in due to the 28's having a 94% duty cycle....last time. Still tuned for same AFR, so injector size is a moot point, just wanted to be 100% up front

going to see how low it'll go on motor, or if that's it. then hit it with the nitrous a little later...

Wow, that's awesome. I'll be honest, I figured it was going to help out, but I didnt know it would make that big of a difference.

Yeah, I am pretty pleased with that out one for sure.

Just made a nitrous pass, but forgot to purge it (fresh bottle)...Still went a tenth quicker and 1mph faster. I expect it'll go a little quicker now that the line is full now, lol

11.35 and 11.41 @ 120 last time with 1050psi bottle pressure

11.28 @ 121 on a less than perfect pass and just shy of 900psi bottle pressure.
I think it'll go 11.0-11.1 @ 122

Nitrous Outlet wet nozzle kit on WOT switch is what I have.

Thumbs up

Went 6 11.20's in a row, then ran out of nitrous, LOL
11.21@122 was best for the day. I'm no weather reader, but it got hotter and hotter throughout the day, and I think I heard them say the DA got higher as well...

Not making excuses, as I still got better times naturally aspirated and on nitrous, but wanted to give the final results...

The ole girl is trying to pull the tires up...but not quite...Cecil's so sticky, even the front tires stick, LOL...

These were both footbrake launches FWIW. I tried the transbrake, but 60 foots were nearly identical, so figured I'd save the rear for another day...

It's a pretty severe offset, but it will work. I also now have a 3/4" thick Nitrous Outlet plate in the mix.

Takes some careful trimming and trial and error. Took me about a half dozen small angled/mitre style cuts to get the right angles.

I am now able to use a 22 degree silicone hose (if Speed Density), or an 85mm truck maf meter, with a smooth bellows, bought off of Amazon for $25.

I ended up staying speed density, but here's a few pics of the larger 85mm maf in place.

Due to the MAF actually having the same O.D. as the SLP lid, I also had to use a small 3.75" sleeve to clamp the MAF to the lid. If I were to run this MAF again, I'd probably just suck it up, and buy a larger tubed FTP LID, so the meter could slide inside of it, like a stocker...

With a stock meter, which IMO is defeating the whole reason to use a better flowing intake and throttle body, you shouldn't have any problem at all with it fitting...As shown, my space is nearly 2 inches less (1" for meter NOT inside of lid, and 3/4" or so, for N2O plate), and it still is able to fit...

Yep, I used the same style amazon elbow for my DLS2, 92 TB, 85 MAF and FT98 lid.
