Can exhaust sound be unbalanced with side exit?
Stupid question, but with side exit exhaust setups that dump before the rear wheels is it ok to just exit out one side? Or will the exhaust not exiting on both sides make a weird unbalanced noise when driving or standing next to the car?
I know fender exit downpipes for turbos usually exit on only one side, but most are so loud it doesn't really seem to matter.. didn't know if it would be different having a quieter full full exhaust system with muffler (Y pipe, not true duals) that just turns and exits on driver's side.
Would there be a benefit to having it split after the muffler and exit out both sides rather than just one?
And I guess while i'm talking about it. How about opinions on how side exit looks, single side exit and both sides.
