Default TKO 600 VSS connector

Hi All,
Trying to identify connector for Tremec TKO 600 VSS output.
Ive attached a pic of the gearbox sensor, anyone advise the part I need. I have a Painless wiring loom but the connector is different.
Thanks...

Not sure what that is. Not easy to find parts in the UK, most items I get fro the US but need to be sure of the part as its expensive shipping.

They're used on lots of makes of cars all over the world. Check ebay. There are also "weather pack" connectors, but I think they all have plastic dividers between contacts.

It is a Ford VSS connector. You can get the connector, terminals, or the correct pigtail on ebay. Search VSS pigtail for Ford Mustang Tremec 3650 trans.

Cheapest option is either solder wires onto it then fit a different connector, or some sort of crimp over it and a short wire to a different connector. The AMPSeal stuff is handy.

Then epoxy up the sensor to seal it.

This seller lists metripack stuff...but it does not look like that sensor.

If I google that Airtex number this seller comes up, when they use the global shipping program, it makes postage affordable !

Great! Thanks for that. Unfortunately the supplier in your link does not ship to UK. I also got a reply from Tremec and they suggested ACDelco part number PT1983 which is available from Amazon - it looks like the same item. I also need and IAT sensor and a company in Florida called Nook and Tranny (who I have bought from in the past) can most likely supply both items....

IAT sensors are available everywhere, unless you need something specific.

The one I linked above on ebay will post to UK.

Or this crowd in the UK claim to stock the TKO's, maybe they might carry small parts like that too ( although dont hold your breath )

Or of course Nook & Tranny

Easiest just to buy via ebay. It's there, just click and it'll arrive in a week or two.
