Not sure who needs to read this, but I just ran a bit of an expensive experiment on a Dorman LS2 intake. I asked Dorman if they used the OEM nylon, as I know factory intakes can survive a powder coating. They said they use Nylon 6, which looks like it's good to go. Nope, bubbled bad at 370DGF. So, for the one or two people who will ever wonder this, don't try to powder the LS2 Dorman, stick to OEM intakes!

Yep, and he said he'd buy another if I screwed it up. The intake looked fine inside, just this surface flaw issue. Just an ugly Fast 92 to him! This may be a sign that my automotive priorities are shifting...
