Nope because the Borla mufflers are actually smaller than the hooker ones. The can is 1" in diameter smaller and I think 2 inches shorter so they actually fit in pretty decent. The 2.5" pipe might need shortened but when the shop did the tips they are perfectly lined up.

Good to hear. I'm hoping that after a few miles on the Hooker mufflers that they will break in enough to be a suitable level for me. I've had dumps for awhile now, so I'm okay with a decrease in sound.

I received the exhaust today, but the box was in very bad condition. My contact at Holley said if anything is missing they will send. After waiting three months for this exhaust can someone advise from the photo if the system is complete?

My exhaust is pictured in the middle of two stock photos for reference

Thanks

As far as the tubing/mufflers/tips, it's all there.

Plus, as long as the hardware bags are unopened upon arrival, it should all be there.

Got mine yesterday as well. All tubing present, all bgs unopened. Very nice quality. Now just to wait on my 1-7/8th long tubes, estimated ship date of 7/27 unfortunately. The tips actually look much better in person than they do in pictures.

I concur on the tips. They look tons better in person. I was pleasantly surprised.

I'd give the exhaust a week, I noted my blackheart exhaust became notable louder after a week once the exhaust packing became less effective.

Also a 2.5" dual with an x-pipe is going to be on the quiet side even with straight through mufflers like the blackheart system. Even with headers I can still have a conversation in my car now but under full throttle its still pretty loud since at higher exhaust gas speeds the straight through mufflers are less effective at dampening the noise as well.

Would you say you are overall happy with your system now?

Are you all running cats or no cats and are you experiencing drone without cats on your Blackheart setup? I plan to order the complete system including headers without cats.

Both systems are catless and I have no annoying drone with my Blackheart setup. Love it.
