Linkenfelter TRG-002 Converter Removal
Hi all, I have an LSx454. When I first fitted it I used an Linkenfelter module (TRG-002) to convert the signal from the 58 tooth reluctor to work with my 24 tooth ECU. Its worked perfectly to date.
But I have the engine out right now rebuilding it (chasing more HP) and thought I may as well take the opportunity to swap the reluctor wheel on the crank to the 24 tooth, as I think it will just be more reliable particularly at higher revs.
Can someone tel me what is involved in removing the module? Does anyone have any info or links to what wires need to be cut, and re-terminated etc?
Thanks in advance.

Wasn't that box made to adapt a Gen IV engine w/58t reluctor and 4x sensors TO a GenIII chassis? I think OP wants to make his engine APPEAR as a Gen III to the chassis. He ALREADY has the 58t reluctor and 4x sensor gear.

Oh OK, figured something like that, lol. I do it all the time. I'm only good at catching OTHER people's mistakes. Have a good one!
