Help me plan my Top End Package
I sell a nice lightweight single disc that's inexpensive and will hold up to 550 RWTQ....weighs about 42 lbs total (entire clutch and flywheel assembly).
Nate hit me up about that clutch via email or PM and we can discuss it in more detail. Save your money on head porting for the MMS 223's.....it's silly to invest money in the stock heads. Mill them and run them.....save that additional money for the MMS 223 purchase in your future (I got your email obviously!)

Anything worth doing is worth doing well. Build it right the first time....its alot cheaper than building it twice!!

basiclly I would like to run as much compression as my shitty 91 octane will allow, but still be able to run an LLSR cam, although not sure which one as they have a few small differences.

You definitely made the right choice going with Tony & the MMS223,
I just had a 32 lb clutch & flywheel assembly installed from Tony
and love the quicker throttle response. You definitely want to go
Lighter rather then heavier lol, dropping 10 lbs with Tony's set up
is the way to go. If you ever change or rebuild the Diff, Eaton has
a limited slip with carbon fiber clutch packs that has a carrier
almost 6 lbs lighter then stock, it also comes with 300M
Left & Right output shafts which makes the whole package
a bargain I paid about $850 for it 4 years ago and just had it
Installed also. Review coming soon in the Dyno Results section.

It's a dual friction style single disc which works well at holding power without alot of clamp load at the pressure plate (which makes the left pedal a little heavier).
It's made with Luk components btw.....these guys have been building clutches a long time

This is some great information. Im looking at doing something similar with my 2004 C5z. Im interested in if a ported FAST 90/LS2 throttle body would be capable of performing with the Mamo heads and spin to 7000rpm or is the 102 a must? The car is strictly an autocross car that is trailered to events so I'm not against running higher compression for some punch off the corners and thats why i was thinking the 90/90 combo.
Picture of the car for ***** and giggles...
Speaking of clutches, I have a McLeod Street Twin with a Fidanza aluminum flywheel and the combo weighs 31lbs.
