My bolt (not Arp but the other cheaper one) came with a small dab of moly lube, which wasn't enough, and had dried out by the time I did the project. So I used copper anti-seize on the threads and back of the massive washer. Dumb? I don't know, but has been fine so far. The instructions said to use lube on the threads, otherwise I wouldn't have used anything. GM put that orange stuff (sealer?) on the back of other bolt heads too (like rocker bolts).

Sounds like your threads should be OK, and MAYBE the copper stuff might even seal the bolt head. Either way, I doubt any harm has been done. Hey, if it DOES leak around the head, just remove it, re-lube it (IF it's re-usable) and put some good sealer under the head. DONE! Have a great weekend!

Just under the bolt head, or also under the washer...?

Or just on the bolt shank, just past the head/washer...?
