Default Ed curtis hellraiser ls1!

Finally got my cam swap done, Wondering what size fast should I go with.... It has 243 heads and oversized valves. Currently running ls6 manifold.

Please let me know opinions...Heard good things from researching, looking to get tuned soon. And add stall yank 3600

Sounds good. I'd get the Fast 102 intake, and have it ported if possible

229/236 right? Seems a familiar cam...

I made the #'s in my sig with a Fast 92/92 unported. I'm sure a 102 would have yielded more.

Niceeeee,I would definitely have loved a t56.But stuck with a4,Already been ran through.

Been sitting on 3600 yank stall for a while, Hoping to make close to 400whp. I'm in Ga, So hopefully sea level is more forgiving than humidity. Made 307/320whp stock single exhaust ,SLP lid. After basemap, header and exhaust. I'm guessing closer to 330-350whp.Put TSP true duals and headers.

Yeah, Imma see if I can. Everyone is quick to say 102...But bigger isn't always better.Heads aren't worked so little increase would do setup some justice. Ready to get my stall in and hit the Dyno this year.

Ill give u a ton of reasons why i went with it....
1) ease of install, no water pump grinding or fitment issues with area under windshield, can use ls1 rails saving u 110 or more from buying ls2 rails. The 90 is literally a plug and play bolts write up minus the tb coolant bypass
2) in my opinion if ur doing a 102, u should either speed density tune or run a 100 mm maf with a ftp 104 lid, which sd is a no for me since i drive in all types of temps as long as its dry out. Also the 100 maf is a tuning obstacle. Good tuners can handle it, but many still report slight idling issues with it. I went with the old ftp 98 lid used for 115 and a gm 85 maf for 50 bucks. My tuner will appreciate that
3) fast 90s are cheaper, i got mine with a nick williams for 775 shipped, not an amazing deal but a good one. Used 102s with throttles go for about 875-1050.
4)performance wise on a 346, the 90 and 102 are just about the same until 5500 rpms or so. After that the 102 wins by 8-12 everytime unported. But honestly, mines a street car so ill be fine

So basically i did the math and i saved about 350-400 going this route over the 102 from getting a cheaper maf, no ls2 rails, and the 90s are cheaper. And i got an easier install. The only benefits the 102 has on a 346 is high rpms. Not worth the extra money and i stall hassles

I had the ls6 intake as well. Was goona keep it on there to save some money, but then i found the 90 with tb. So honestly after i sell me ls6 intake and tb im looking at an extra 7-10 hp throughout the whole curve, 12-15 above 6000 rpms and it will cost me about 450 bucks. Around $35-40 per hp which is very good. Id say keep the ls6 until u find a 90. But u should get a retune when u put the fast on which will cost u more. Unkess u tune urself than ur good

Just ditching the MAF and going speed density (slp lid is 4” ID) netted me 9 to the tire. I ran a Fast 92 with a NW92 that I scored off here for 750 shipped. It was worth it for seat of the pants alone. Car felt more “snappy.”

is the fast 92 built around an ls1 like the fast 90 is? making it basically a bolt on job like the 90? or is the 92 ls2 based like the 102

The 90 and 92 are basically the same. The 102 is a different design

Pretty sure,I will be going 90mm or 92mm depending on deals I can get.Thats reason I hadn't had the car tuned before. I had a Map from Frost, So it runs. Not the best but I won't be driving it until everything is done.

The 92 has better runners, if I'm remembering correctly.

Also, you can drive the car. Just don't go WOT with it.

Time to update that sig with some Ed Curtis goodness
