Default Just a few questions

1. Do i have to run all the little vacuum hoses if I deleted the ac? Idk what the rest are for.
2. If I have the ls6 style valley cover with the built in pcv what do I do with the holes that are in the valve covers can i get now ones with out them?
3. Has anyone used a quick jack on these cars I cant seem to get an answer for that I dont trust my jack stands and i would like something to hold all of the car rather then the back as I need to get the exhaust off. I can't seem to figure out whcih quick jack to use as Idk the jack point distance on the car it seems shorter then what quick jack has to offer as there smallest is 71 inches at 5000lbs.
4. Do I have to put the trans dip stick back onto the head that was a pain in the butt to get off and also do I have to reattach the harness to the head again as well as I kind of got mad and just ripped the metal tie to shreds lol.

that should be it lol.

1. There shouldn't be any vacuum hoses on the engine for A/C.
2. Look up an LS6 PCV diagram. It had valve cover ports as well.
3. Do you honestly think nobody has ever lifted one of these cars up to work on them??????????
4. No, but it might fall out if not.

3. I leave my car on 4 jack stands for day's on end. Two of the longer stints were 1 months and the picture was 2+ weeks.

1. I meant the little vacuum hoses I see go behind the intake that hang from the wire harness.
2. I have the ls6 cover and I only see the one that goes to throttle body that's it where as the ls1 style had the tubes going to the valve covers.
3. No I know they did but I was wondering which quick jack would be better lol.
4. That is very true but also a pain to get in lol

4. If by "harness" you really mean "ground wire", then yes, you MUST put that back.

Also how do you remove the rubber fuel lines from the metal ones that come up into the engine bay. I got the one off the intake but can't figure out how to disconnect the ones coming from under the car so i can put braided lines on.

The little vacuum line on the back of the intake is for the HVAC system.

OP, you could cap that port, however I don't know if it will affect your heater or not. I know you deleted AC.

Little vacuum hose I believe is merely for positioning of your HVAC, ie which vents it blows out of.

You are a ballsy *** rebel, lol.

Why would it matter how long a car was on jack stands? if you're crawling under the car you should be DAAAAAMN sure it isn't going anywhere, ever. I personally hate working on jack stands because of fear. I spend the whole time imagining the car falling on me.

I bought a set of race ramps when I did the tranny in my truck last year. Expensive but nice to have and very comforting. I can handle ramps in the front and 4 jack stands on the rear diff, lol.
