Default Pedal position not matching throttle body

I swapped a 03 Tahoe 5.3 with 4L60E into a 93 Jeep YJ. At about 1/2 pedal position the throttle body air valve is at 100%. Any ideas? We did try a later pedal and it did the same thing. I hate to just throw money at it. Thanks for any help.

Maybe try a different, longer throttle cable? Some of the LS swap videos on You Tube mention needing to splice cables. I got lucky on my swap . . . the cable fit perfectly though I need my oldest son to 3D print me a better cable bracket for the top of the intake manifold.

I have the throttle by wire. Also Old Geezer which forum are you referring to. Thanks for any help. Most 03's were first with TBW.

I know I've read those TAC Modules are specific to certain APP sensors. You have to make sure they are compatible with one another like both from the same year/model of vehicle when retrofitting into something else. Then that combination has to be used with the proper PCM. I know the gen fours with the E40 ECM don't use a TAC, but that ECM also requires a Specific APP sensor. Just a quick note i'm pretty sure there was a switch on 2003 from the full plastic bodied TAC to an Aluminum Backed TAC. Not sure which one you require.

I am not sure if the TAC and APP were from the same vehicle. They are not from the same ECM, engine and throttle body all though these 3 are from the same 03 Tahoe.

From what I could find online it looks like your TAC should have the aluminum backing plate and your pedal assembly should be GM part # 15177923 (used from 2000-2005 trucks). that's all I could find on the GM 1MB PCM. It says the wiring harness connectors are the same but the harness is pinned different between 1999 and 2007 so those 2 components should match your 2003 set-up

I had a similar problem... is this putting your vehicle into limp mode? I swapped out my tac module, then cut the pedal assembly.... I used my HP Tuners software to watch throttle body and pedal position % and vice clamped it at 100% and in a comfortable position for my long legs... Then I welded that sucker up. Pedal fits better and I don't have to worry about going over 100% LOL
