Default Oil Cooler Line Size

I am swapping a LQ9 6.0L into a 98 k1500 truck. I plan on making up my own lines for the oil cooler. The oil cooler itself is integrated into the stock 98 k1500 radiator. Question is I have a Oil Cooler adapter and the fittings on it are -10AN. Would running -10AN lines be too big for the system or will it not effect the oil system at all. Thanks ahead for all info and advice.

-10 is pretty typical.

IMO (which is free, and probably overpriced) -10 is minimum size for any external oil component.

Factory LQ9 lines are about ½"; pretty much equivalent to #8. (might actually be metric in some nearby size but w/e) So yes, #10 should be fine in most situations.

-10 absolute minimum -12 even better. the hoses are fine but the inside of the fittings are quite abit more restrictive. you cant go "too big"
