Throttle body cleaning

I've searched and read several threads about tb cleaning and took all considerations into what to use as a cleaner and settled on sea foam deep creep. Well it hasn't done the trick for the backside. One thing I didn't see was what product works better than x vs y. So for those that have tried multiple cleaners on multiple throttle bodies please post what works best compared to what. Thanks

PB Blaster might work. I wouldn't be overly concerned unless the blade isn't sealing.

It’s brass, it’s going to tarnish, who cares. Why are you so concerned with something so irrelevant? No one has ever done an A vs. B comparison on something so silly before.

On pistons the best stuff i used was B-12 Chemtool. Let sit for 10 minutes and the carbon wiped right off. Should work for your throttle body. Advance and autozone carry it. I tried seafoam first and it didn't do s**t.

+1 on Chemtool. That stuff is the best carb cleaner I have found. And carb cleaner is what you need on the throttle body, as it's the same kind of crud.

I have my top end off for head gaskets and want to port my throttle body and intake and heads. I take pride in how my **** looks you ignorant ****. That's why. I never asked if someone did a back to back comparison .I assume that most people here have cleaned a piece of ALUMUNIM more than once and like most people that wash/wax cars have tried multiple products. I just didn't want to hear what works good. Maybe I've used this this and this in a 5 year span and so and so worked the best. This kind of question in other fields is extremely common such as asking which mufflers are quitest... why was it so important to you to reply and contribute nothing?
