In which case, follow the diagram you posted above. The crank pulley might be a bear, and make sure to follow torqueing instructions to the letter. Not sure you will need a new bolt, as I don't know if the 3.8 uses single use bolts (torque to yield).
And FYI, the pics above show the engine upside down. Not sure you knew that...

yea me too. i think once we get that bolt broke loose it wont be that bad.

You might want to check in with others who know that engine just to make sure you get all the particulars right. And there ARE particulars, I just don't know them myself...

from the few i have spoke with say its pretty straight forward. remove balancer, then remove the plastic piece behind that, then sensor and replace. like u said i need to find out the torque specs. some have said to about having to do a case learn? others have said its just plug and play so i need to find that out as well.
