yet another Valve Spring thread (looking for knowledge)
Id recommend no more than .560 on the blue ls6 springs. Yellow were good to .570ish but were a better quality spring made by Eibach in Germany. In fact every yellow ls6 spring had a made in germany sticker on it brand new.

Good thinking! I just remembered the .570 from way back somewhere reading about LS6 specs. For a .553 cam like Cam Motion does a lot of, that's nice and close BUT not too close to coil bind.

What about roller tappets like in LS engines? Do they require more pressure? It would seem rollers would weigh more than flat tappets, though I don't know.

bought some spring one late night when i was too tired to be spending money honestly and ended up with a set rated for .625. I thought they was comp cams but when they came in they was Engine Pro Racing... at first I thought it was a seller mistake until I went back and looked at the order. Never shop when tired. anyone know anything about this brand?
They are likely made by the same company that makes comp 918s.
Why are you searching on the net for unknown parts when there are plenty of vendors that sell well known and tested parts here?

no disrespect to anyone,just what happened. IF i had checked this tread before I bought them I definitely would have used a vendor from this forum for sure but I had forgotten about this thread before buying them

Most of us aren't made out of money, but don't say you want the cheapest solution and save your engine. Your just asking for trouble in that regards. You should find out what cam you have in there before you buy anything imo and the find the right spring for it. But don't go cheap as possible, saving a few bucks now might cost a **** load more right after.
