Default LS1 MAP sensor

Hey everyone.

Simply question, I realize that the factory location for the MAP sensor is at the back of the intake. I recently picked up a LS1 for my truck, and this location has been sealed off with some sort of plastic epoxy. Is it possibly that the MAP was moved to a new location? Do people move it to the front of the intake?

Cheers

Good to know.

As you can tell im pretty new to the LS engine and EFI for that matter. What would you suggest I buy to relocate the MAP sensor? What are my options?

They make a wiring extension to plug it in at the front of the intake manifold.

Like I said..Im very new to the EFI scene, where do I put it? Does it just need a vacuum line? I have a new harness, which actually has the wires already moved to the front..so all good there.
