What would be a good choice of plug wires to use when doing my coil relocation brackets? I understand the plug ends for 93-97 Camaro LT1 engines work? What's a good brand? PN? Link? Red would be nice. I THINK I'm going to mount them on the bottom side of the cowl, but am open to suggestions.
I like the way the Taylors look. I assembled them myself to get what I wanted. Unfortunately I have a problem removing them and from time to time the clip stays on the plug. In order to not be stuck or have to wait I purchased extra. I picked up a universal V8 set (79253) and a set of LS1 coil boots/terminals (46069). Both of these have 45° boots, but Taylor refers to them as 135°. I believe the LT1 optispark ends are straight, no angel. This may or may not suit your custom application.
As an LT1 guy doing an LS coil conversion I can tell you the LS coil ends (D510C in my case) are 16mm wide and the LT1 optispark terminal/ends are 14mm. The LT1 opti ends of the wires fit on the LS coils but is pretty tight. I'm going with LS coil boots.
