Battery Relocation without Cutoff swtich
Hey Guys,
Just running a battery relocation and wondering if I was to run a distribution block or just use the fuse standoff as a distribution block without running the alternator back to the battery. Would this cause any issues with the alternator if I was not using a cutoff swtich in the rear? There would be a single 2AWG cable from the battery running to the distribution block.
Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks!

Electrically it could "work" fine; but might have problems with tech inspection at the track.
The reason the rules require that the alt has to be disconnected by the switch is, if it's not, the engine can continue to run (powered by the alt alone) even after the switch is switched. The car must unconditionally be disabled by the cutoff switch. They may not let you run without it.
