Default Trailblazer SS Owners... RADICAL Gains from RADICAL Ported Intake!

Peak Speed Shop now does RADICAL porting of Trailblazer SS and GM Gen IV 6.0L/6.2L Truck Intake Manifolds! Gain 15-20 rwhp!

BEFORE

AFTER

Cory Harris from LS2PortWorks had perfected a method for completely opening up that hole deep in the plenum and removing additional barriers that restricted air flow in the TBSS and Gen IV (6.0L, 6.2L) truck manifolds. Cory's customers typically saw 15 rwhp / 15 rwtq gains and some of the 6.2L customers with headers, a significant cam and ported heads reported as high as a 20 rwhp gain.

Many of you truck guys were saddened when Cory announced he was no longer porting the truck manifolds. We are happy to announce that for the past four months we have been working with Cory to learn his techniques for porting these manifolds in order to pick up where he left off. In order to perform the porting, the top of the manifold is removed and then reattached once the porting is complete.

The cost for RADICAL porting of your manifold is just $425. We can port your throttle body at the same time for just $75 additional.

TBSS owners... we have some ported manifolds in our inventory. If you don't want your vehicle down while you wait to send your manifold back and forth, simply pay a refundable core charge to have us ship one from inventory and return yours once the job is complete.

Order on our web site at:
http://peakspeedshop.com/Zen_Cart/in...ex&cPath=65_69

Soon, we will also discuss the merits of 5.3L Gen III truck owners converting to the TBSS ported manifold as a lower cost alternative if they don't want to pay for the power gains of a FAST manifold. Watch for the thread!

definitely will need a tune with the extra air flow, or you won't maximize your gains....

Is the ported intake balanced for equal flow to all cylinders? Or just plain hogged out?

I thought porting our tb SS intakes was a no no from a reliability stand point?

And you can guarantee that this won't happen?

Regarding the video of a manifold flexing…..

First, there are two manifold designs that we do the radical porting on. One is the TBSS design and the other is the L92 design. The manifold in the video is the L92. Flexing has never been an issue on the TBSS manifold which is narrower and has more of a dome shaped top than the L92. With the flatter and wider topped L92 manifold, this was an isolated and unusual situation with one customer that Cory at LS2PortWorks had and he worked to try to identify and remedy the causes in this customer’s situation. Since that time, however, he went on to modify the L92 porting to include some reinforcements that would prevent the possibility of flexing in other isolated incidences and that's what he trained us to do. The Radical Ported L92 manifolds from Peak Speed Shop include those reinforcements.

We do guarantee all of our work. Our guarantee is posted on our website at http://www.peakspeedshop.com/ .

Yes they are. So to be clear, the manifold that is on the TBSS is also on the following vehicles:

4.8L
2007–present Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2007–present Chevrolet Tahoe
2007–present GMC Sierra 1500
2007–present GMC Yukon

5.3L
2004–2009 Chevrolet TrailBlazer including EXT (through 2006)
2005–2009 GMC Envoy Denali
2005–2006 GMC Envoy XL
2005 GMC Envoy XUV
2005–2007 Buick Rainier
2005–2009 Saab 9-7X
2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2007 GMC Sierra 1500
2007–present Chevrolet Avalanche
2007–present Chevrolet Silverado 1500
2007–present Chevrolet Suburban 1/2 ton
2007–present Chevrolet Tahoe
2007–present GMC Sierra 1500
2007–present GMC Yukon
2007–present GMC Yukon XL 1/2 ton
2008–present Hummer H3 Alpha
2009–present Chevrolet Colorado/GMC Canyon

So, these are the vehicles that have the TBSS styled manifold that we are able to Radically Port.
