I got this car about 5 years ago all original stock with a blown up LS1, put a 4.8 in it and I've been using it as a work beater ever since. For exhaust, gutted Kitty's and magnaflow welded to the stock I-pipe flowed well enough for the little 4.8L, But I recently upgraded to a 6.2L and I felt like the stock I-pipe and the adapter I used was holding it back a lot so I got this 3" intermediate pipe and installed it with another magnaflow that I just took off my other camaro that I recently upgraded to 3" duals. I'm going to do headers with cut-outs behind the collectors sometime soon on this one but for now I'm just going to enjoy how much better it sounds with this new I-pipe!

That was good enough for 104mph at 2000da with the 4.8L but with my new 6.2L it was just choking to death


The only issue with my pipe was that the hanger was way off target and my car still has the stock manifolds and y-pipe and all the factory hangers so I was a little disappointed at that. I ended up cutting the end of the hanger open and stretching part of it over to the factory rubber. I cut the rusty hanger I used from an old flowmaster system.

I went back and cut away the useless included hanger

Thanks, the video doesn't really do it justice of course but I appreciate the compliment. I've tried a lot of cat-backs and different mufflers over the years on these cars and the magnaflow 12267 with the stock tailpipes is my favorite
