Plug wires - 02 T/A with 1-7/8 headers
Hence the reason for quality plug wires where you can bend the ends for those tight areas and yes the protective boots are nice but they'll burn too when touching a primary.

Several months later, misfire all over again - the sheath was sitting on a primary and burned through to the wire. The bendable boots on the MSD's allow for plenty of clearance without those things.
get some new headers on there , some se 1 7/8 and msd wires , ive never had an issue with msd wires with se 1 7/8 or bbk longtubes. Also kooks 1 3/4 had no issue along with 2 inch tsp headers. get those old *** dougs headers off there and make it easy on yourself.
