Default Improved Racing Oil Catch Can Kit for LS Engines

Hey guys,

We recently released our new oil catch can, which we are really excited about. It's extremely efficiency, flows really well, and is super easy to use. Draining the can couldn't be easier, you just turn it an 1/8 turn and it pops off. As with all of our products, it's made here in Florida.

We now have a kit available for universal fit on Gen III and IV LS engines. This kit includes a billet bracket that bolts to the passenger side cylinder head. There is also a spacer included to fit more applications (to clear evap lines, larger engine covers, etc). The bracket can even be installed on the driver's side cylinder head, but the lines in the kit are specifically for the passenger side, so you would need different lines (just hit us up and we can help you out).

Here's the link to the universal LS engine catch can kit

This video is of our C7 kit, but it shows you just how easy it is to use and drain the can:

There are a lot more cool features to this can, just check out our website to read more about it. We are also developing kits for as many cars as possible, so post up if there are other applications you'd like to see! You can check out some of our current kits (C7, C8, and Dodge Charger / Challenger Hellcat kits are already available) here: https://www.improvedracing.com/oil-c...-can-kits.html

Here's a couple of pics of the kit installed on a GTO:

Looks good, would it perform well in a FI application?

Yes, with FI you just have to make sure you are running a PCV valve or check valve. We have a small check valve in development for use with our catch cans, as well as a restrictor valve (restrictors can be used instead of a PCV valve as a simpler solution without moving parts, but since they don't check, they should only be used in NA applications).

Another option of course is to vent the can to atmosphere, and we do make a vent to atmosphere filter for that purpose. But we recommend connecting to a vacuum source like the OEM setup whenever possible.
