I'm putting engine together that I didn't take apart and it's been years since I did one - does anyone have pics showing proper location of the bits and pieces that are mounted to intake? I'm getting ready to install engine in the car and don't want to figure it out when it's under the cowl later, I want this back 100% as it was made 99 Formula

it easy peasy then....be sure to use new intake gaskets.....consider the LS6 valley cover since the engine is out...recommend a new OPSU as they go bad or break in half ....there is a TQ sequence when TQ down....the fuel rail will push the injectors in the ports ...consider new O rings on the injectors
If it's been a long time since its run I would send the injectors out for cleaning. Install the oil pressure sender as it can be a bit of a pain to get at under the cowl.

the install of the manifold is not the deal, there are several brackets for various things that are bolted to the intake, i would like to see some pics so i can have them all installed in proper location so it can be installed and not have to be redone when its under the cowl.

there is only one bracket per say...its at the rear on drivers side.....it contacts the fuel rail in case of crash for safety....if you still have it.....sorry no pics of to share
there are brackets on the PCV hose that plug into the mani at the bottom....slot looking brackets...same on drivers side for the EVAP canister
the cable for throttle has a bracket....forget what it bolts to
Here's where I am, the plastic line from intake was split and been replaced already - nothing bolted up on intake yet will be a real LS6 heads, cam off buddies '02 Z06
OK thanks I did see the bracket that bolts to rear of drivers side- weird as looks like do nothing part but trying to original as possible LOL original block has a window in it so this is an upgrade that fell in my lap
