Default 3-Bar MAP on an older FAST intake - Suggestions?

I have an older FAST intake that I'm going to use in my new build, but I'm unsure about MAP sensor mounting. The 3-Bar GM MAP sensor just has an O-ring to seal it, and the diameter is larger than the hole in my intake. I'll have to drill my intake, which is fine, and I'll need to fab some kind of retainer, but looking at the thickness of the intake shell, it seems like the O-ring will just sit below the shell and not actually seal against it. I'd assume that under boost it would seal itself, but again, I'm not sure. Has anyone ever used one of these on this intake? I'd appreciate some help in figuring out mounting.

Well, since no one chimed in and I'm sure someone will eventually run into this - This is what I found to solve my problem. Pricey? Yes. But it's a nice piece and I don't have to cobble something together: https://shop.bakerengineering.com/pr...ntake-manifold

I drilled and tapped mine for a hose barb and remote mounted the MAP sensor to the firewall.

I'd thought of that, but if I eventually upgrade my intake ( and don't blow this one up ), I'd like to be able to sell it ready to go for an N/A application.

Do you have a pic of it Installed? I just obtained a Fast 78 and was wondering the same thing. I've heard of people just RTVing it in place and I didn't love that idea.

Here it is installed. It's a nice piece, but it should be for the price, lol.
