Working on my intake/TB setup and am using a TBSS intake with a 3 bolt oem cable TB (with an adapter). I have the cable hooked up properly and have one fairly minimal bend, but otherwise the cable run is free of any sharp turns, obstructions, kinks, etc. The pedal/throttle blade operates fine, but it just does not return as quickly as I would like. I've tried to find stiffer springs, or find a way to add an aditional one and am not having much luck. Has anyone ran into this issue? It seems like I could fab up a bracket easily enough to hook the spring to the engine side, but I'm not sure how I could hook the other end to the TB. See photo attached. TB markup.pdf
Last resort is to convert to DBW, but at this point I would like to avoid that. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks!
Hard to tell from just the side pic but are you pulling from an angle side to side? Also the down angle seems a bit much.
Can you fab a new bracket that lowers cable bracket and puts it more in line left to right? Might mean a new throttle cable from Lokar?
Pic of my Wrangler with a LS6 swap. LS6 intake. I had to fab a throttle cable bracket for my project. Zero problems spring wise.

Thanks for the quick response. The bracket is a standard TBSS cable conversion bracket that I purchased and I believe people commonly use this without issue. I don't believe the downward angle is the issue (I could be wrong), and it is able to pull all the way from 0-100% without issue, just the spring-back doesn't feel very confident. As far as side to side, it is in perfect alignment - may be hard to tell from the photo.
