Jonathan
I'm doing an expirament, and so far it's working. Stop using Shell gas. I did, and the ses light turned off, and it hasn't come back on.

Well Im going up to MTI tomorrow(where I had my dyno tune done 3 weeks ago). They are going to turn back on my EGR and take a look. Also my speedometer is off about 3mph. Also they have a way better scanner than my old Predator! So we'll see tomorrow!

Took the car to MTI Jason was very helpfull and figured out that the number 6 cylinder was not firing. So looking into tomorrow for Coil, plug, wire, injector. What a great place Jason went right to work on it didnt cost me anything but he also sold me a used injector to try. My car also had a Terminal L code so somethings wrong with the Alternator so Im going to replace it as well. Very good people! Ill keep yall updated.

I guess Ill join the club too. Every now and then (almost %60 of the time) For example, i start my car up to go to lunch. After say about 30 minutes to and hour I come back to my car and start her up and everything is fine. The minute I go to leave she starts sputtering, bucking, and all kind of other crap. It only happens if its been sitting for a short time after initially running. I have no clue what it could be. It only happens shortly after the car has started, after that everything goes back to normal. I originally thought maybe my MAF sensors are dirty... possibly from the Holley filter. Or maybe its the plugs, dunno. After reading this it doesnt seem like Im any closer to figuring out the problem since Im really doubtful its the gas. Its been doing it for a long time but not often enough to warrant taking it in since Ive never ever gotten an SES light since Ive had the car brand new. I only have 23K miles on her.

Have you checked for vacuum leaks yet?

I had a 96 Tahoe that did the exact same thing. After finding the leak, it ran perfect!
I know the engine is different from our ls1's, but it had the same concept problem.

Give it a try.

It sounds like the Fuel filter. Have you changed it recently? My car started doing what yours does and after a new filter and about 30 miles it hasn't happened since. Being from Houston, your gas is about as good and fresh as it gets in the US. I have a FINA/BASF refinery that within 2 miles of me and I use their gasoline. The gas station is right across the street from the plant, so I have faith that I'm buying 93 octane.

I think what Im going to do is go ahead and change all 8 injectors because it looks like you have to take them all out anyways. The one injector I have is an old one and dont want to be running it all the time, then I owuld have to go buy a new one anyway. I have changed the fuel filter before but I havent changed it since this problem started occuring. What pound injectors do these cars have 24.9? 22?

Thanks
Jason
