What X-Pipe?

What X-Pipe? Alright, say I get long tube headers, and want true duals. Does someone make an X-pipe to fit LS1's? I thought TSP did but I can't find it on their site. Also, if i were to get true duals, would I have to use bullet mufflers, or could it run out the back, or would that waste a lot of money?

Ok, I found the X-pipe from TSP, but it says it comes with 18" bullet mufflers. Can you replace them with that mufflers that you want, because I want the Sweet Thunder Chambered mufflers? Also, what size Kooks headers do I want, theres 1 3/4 and 1 7/8. Is there a differance between stainless and coated? Thanks for your time, Ryan

umm yeah there is a difference between stainless and coated....stainless don't rust...coated will overtime...but if they are stainless and coated then...i guess you're good to go

I have Kook's LT headers 1 3/4 inch and I love 'em! I also have the TSP true dual setup with the sweet-thunders dumped before the axle and I think it is the best sounding exhaust I have ever heard (many of my friends are Mustang guys too). I think it sounds much better than the bullets in my opinion although the bullets did sound great. You can have true duals go out the back, but expect to pay around 800-1000 bucks for a custom setup, or an additional 300-500 to finish off a system that already dumps like the TSP.

"When buying long tubes what you are paying for is fitment, quality, fit and finish. All LT's dyno within the same net gain. Swap from one brand to another for the sole purpose of gains and you'll be disappointed. 1 3/4 sized primaries are more then adequate for stock cubes. If you have a stroker look into some 1 7/8 primaried headers."
-If in the distant future you plan on going with a stroker, would installing 1 7/8 really make you loose that much horsepower before installing the stroker shortblock?
