IIRC madman stopped selling his, i know Spohn still sells them. thats what im going with.

more stabilty of the engine in the bay. wont move around or flex and cause issues like header or Y pipe banging. cons are more vibrations and rattles. with solid mounts you get a 10-12lbs weight savings. with poly mounts you still have to use the cast iron pedistule (sp).

Thought i read somewhere that solid mounts or poly mounts weren't good for the LS1 because the engine is more likely to pick up vibrations from the chassis and sense it as knock. Seems logical to me that rubber mounts would absorb more vibration and is less likely to cause a faulty knock reading. I know personally i've driven down the road in my Z71 with my Predator hooked up checking out real-time and went over a couple of mild bumps and got up to 12 degrees knock retard with just stock mounts.

some people have some people havent, just one of those things :dunno:. there isnt a unanimous consensus one way or another.
