Default tsp true dual instalation question

ok, everything is done, connected, and good, a little tough to fit them together, but after a little bit of a fight i got them on.

now, here's my question.

i used the clamps to temperarily hold everything till i can get it welded. after a drive around the block i noticed it was hanging like 2 inches off the ground at the back. i noticed those tabs have holes in them but couldnt find a bolt to attach them too. is there anything i can do to hold it up before i get it welded?

What the hell! Are you driving around without the bullets attached to the car(hangers)? I wouldn't do that, if that's what your talking about, I'd leave the mufflers in the trunk until you can weld the hangers...or you could drill a hole and put a bolt/nut through it.

Yeah, I would not suggest driving around without the hangers attached. I'm with skippytheloon, drill a hole and stick a bolt through it until you get it welded.

HAHAHA...
Thought that I was the only impatient person around here. Yea man, you should disconnect the bullets until you can get a shop and have them welded. You'll shot yourself if they snag something and get ripped off.

That's all I can think of, those bullets are pretty heavy and the only thing holding that entire exhaust up is your headers...I wouldn't think thats good. I don't even have to ask if you like the sound
BTW: I'd get some good band clamps to replace those U-bolts, say you go over some railroad tracks or hit anything not rounded off. If you scrape a band clamp it'll scratch the exhaust...but if you scrape a U-bolt, it might catch and the whole exhaust may rip off.
edit: don't worry about it, I didn't think the metal was "that" thin and burned through when welding them on. Carpet caught on FIRE! (well, it kinda smoldered ) Just watch under your rear seats when they are welding please.

I believe the system Aluminum coated steel, not aluminum.

You took it to a shop that couldnt recognize Aluminized Steel? Time to run like heck to another shop.

I just got my TSP true duals that dump at the axle. Are these the ones you are talking about? So there is welding required. They are sitting here waiting for installation.

When I was contemplating about buying this system (Actually, I still am), I knew I would rather drill a hole through the floorboard to hold up the back of the exhaust instead of welding it. This way I can always take it off whenever I wanted. Just my .02.
