Also, what is the rest of your setup? If you dont have headers. Maybe you are not able to supply enough exhaust to them to fill them up and have a constant value free flowing out of the pipes. Therefore, if not a constant value it could possible sound a little poppy (but probably pretty deep). Anyway, that is just and idea that has not been proven by me. So i could just be talkin out my ***.
Also, if you want to hear the rasp sound, just listen to my car
. But i must say i just love going under underpasses and racking them off at those
jap crap fart can cars with ground effects that dont even match the color of their car.

As for the other questions, I have Jet Hot Lt's, K&N FIPK, Ported/POlished MAF and TB, LS6 intake.
It's not droan, that only happens when I'm first taking off at about 1400 rpms...rattles the back seat, this is under easy driving when I push the clutch in...may not be rasp, but definately not interior droan.
I'll have the car back up on jacks this week and I'll double check everything and replace those old clamps.
I took 2 different people for rides tonight (both have fbods of course) and apparently my definition of rasp is no where near what rasp really is. they said that it definately wasn't any sort of rasp, so I stand humbly corrected. big props to TSP cuz I really starting to dig this system
