Default Question for all TSP True Duals Owners

Does anyone who owns TSP True Duals not absolutely love them? I haven't turned my radio on since I installed them.

How is the interior drone on them? How about the rattles? I've been on the fence about buying this system. I currently have a Magnaflow system on, so I don't know if the dramatic difference in sound will be too much for my taste.

The drone is actually quite pleasant. It's a very deep rythmic sound. It's like nothing I ever got out of any y-pipe setup, and I've been through 4 cat-backs.

I had some ground clearance issues when I first installed it but I hadn't fitted it yet, I just slapped it on so I could hear what it sounded like. Once you take it to the shop and get it welded up it tucks up quite nicely.

As far as rattles go the only thing that rattles is the ash tray. I'm going to get a tiny strip of dynomat to put on the bottom of it and that should take care of it.

I'll never go back to a y-pipe setup after experiencing true duals. The sound is absolutely unbeatable and I've gotten nothing but compliments on it everywhere I go.

I have it on my Z28 and w/ my headers it sounds unbelievably awesome. The rumble and tone of the exhaust noise is so smooth and the only thing I would complain about it is its a 3" setup, so if you have a lowered car like i do, you have to take the bumps a little slow.....but the sound is great and I would never go back to a y-pipe setup.

I don't have the TSP setup.. But I know what you mean about not wanting to have the radio... Sitting at stoplight feeling the car shake and hearing the thump of the cam through sweet-thunders... Now that's a car nuts paradise..

HAHA..

Got mine put on this morning... I will never have a Ypipe again. No rattles at all, drone is non offensive, and at WOT its pure-damn-orgasmic.

Hey Gabe, I've seen your car parked at HEB sometimes and I see you have the TSP X-pipe set up. Is there anyway we could set something up so I could hear it in person?

A friend of mine has the TSP duals and it sounds amazing. I think it sounds similar to my exhaust up top (QTP's, catted Y and GMMG) but at part throttle and at idle, I hate to say it after all the money I spent on mine, but I think his sounds MUCH better. It's got a deep, deep sound at idle that I've not heard out of any other exhaust on an ls1.

That looks like a nice setup from their website. Are they legal are cars (live in Pa) because the pipes don't go that far back? Do they sell pipes to go over the rear axle to make duals. My last question is will cat converters and headers (kooks) bolt on to them? Thanks for any info because I have been reading and I'm confused on either a ypipe setup or a dual setup. I'm trying to figure which ways the cheapest.

I heard the car fbodman is referring too this weekend at the Berger Show last weekend and I was impressed by the sound/tone. Still not a big fan in the appearance of turn downs on the 'short' exhausts, but it really did sound nice.

I deffinately want to get the whole package QTP's headers, nice set of high flow cats, and duals after the axle. I noticed that tsp aren't after the axle though, but I have seen some nice setups after the axle. Just a lot more bends. I'd get the tsp setup, but I thought it would look funny on my WS.6 with the ground affect cuttouts for the tips! I wish there was a aftermarket bumper for our cars to close those up like the V6 mustangs. My buddy just got side pipes on his 99 Cobra and he's switching over to the V6 bumper. It's going to look great, just wish I could do the same!!!!

True, but you know how everyone can be with their cars. This would deffinately be a money making aftermarket part for suncoast or rk sport.....

I just put mine on today, and they sound absolutely amazing. I am really impressed. The drone isn't too bad, and I haven't had any rattles. I would like to eventually get them all the way out the back, though.

Over all, a great system and I am very pleased with them.

I couldn't have said it better. there is some drone but its not bad at all. my cars an A4 with a stall. I only rattle on a slow take off where the R's are up but im not really moving. it rattles around the ash tray, and around the shifter. I have no suspension mods, I belive with SFC's and some other things my rattles would be gone, as it rattled slightly when stock.

you cant beat the sound, I have gotten more compliments in the last week (only had mine on a week) then i ever have. it makes my car sound so aggressive, I love it. The other night I started my car to go after a Blk WS-6 and over heard some guys standing beside my car say " dam, that sounds good" "he must have some motor work done". Basicly all i have is headers, duals, lid. it made me feel good.
