Default RPM hanging with FAST 90/90

I just finished installing the FAST 90 LSX w/FAST 90 TB (revised version - latest batch).

Fired right up, no leaks,etc.

However, when I give it the gas it'll hang at about 2K rpm and slowly fall back down.

It looks like the throttle cable has a bit of slack it in and the lever on the TB is not pulling it back down all of the way.

Is there anyway to reduce the slack in the cable? Or is it something else causing the RPMs to hang, the RPMS will actually go up a bit b/w shifts.

Thanks.

take the cable off a get you a small fishing line sinker (weight) that is split and crimp it on to the cable just before the stop .... that will take care of that ...

of course you may want to double check that there is not another reason you have slack in it, but the spring on the TB should close it anyway

What stop are you referring to?

I think I have it under control. I'll report back in a few hours.

So far, so good. I had to enlarge the opening for the TB cable so it'd fit in the correct spot. Seems to work very well.

Overall, the intake/tb madea MASSIVE increase in throttle response and power. I can definately tell it's making more power.
