leaking AIR help needed

leaking AIR help needed I found out today that my AIR connection on the drivers side is leaking pretty bad. i have restrictor plates cause i cannot afford to get a tune to get the light shut off so these will have to do for atleast a while longer. but its leaking pretty damn good.
Could a leak such as this echo off my valve covers and sound like its coming fro my valve train? cause i have this really nasty squeeking almost rattling sound coming from the drivers side of my engine compartment and when i changed out my cam, springs, and retainers nothing changed.
its not a fluttering sound, but more a squeeking/ticking/rattling sound.
how do i stop this leak? will hi-temp rtv sealant work ?

I put some gasket maker/sealer on my block off plates when i removed the air/egr systems from my car, works great no leaks, hasnt been a problem yet, try that, should work just fine.
