Default Best intake for functional hood?

I bought a suncoast ss style hood this summer for my 1998 z28. It looks awesome and they offer a kit to make it functional. I was wondering if I would get the most gains from a CAI, FIPK, or suncoast's kit? Thanks for your help.

Do you mean CAI as in the SLP kit?

The SSRA/FTRA make great kits for a cold air kit. The FIPK it also a great mod, but there will always be a debate weather the FIPK is better than the SSRA + lid vs FIPK. Link me to the suncoast kit, and I will be able to tell you roughly how good it is

Is it like the BGRA kit for the WS6? If it is then it most definatly better than the FIPK and the CAI.

So it seals the airbox and sucks in the air from the hood? If it does what it looks like then it will be a great mod, especially when you start going faster.

Yes, it does. The only hesitation I have is the neck portion, which looks like it throttles the air a bit too much to be as effective as a 85 mm lid.

I would go with the suncoast kit, or the Volant.
