for the record about Borla I've never done anything like this before, but what the heck...
I've got the Borla adj system. All of the hardware has corroded, some had to be replaced at the muffler shop. The muffler itself split and I had to have it welded together to shut up the rasping that was spurting out of it.
Well...I called up Borla to see about thier "Million Mile Warranty" and they basically didn't give a crap and certainly wasn't going to replace my system!
Just note that if you ever have to claim the "Warranty" that you may not get far. Hopefully I just got a bad customer service rep.
Anyone else?

Not to mention it sounds like total *** without cats. And after my heads, it sounded like a chainsaw. Hooker fixed that problem, I can assure you I won't be dealing with Borla ever again.
I have the Borla also and it sounds very good with cats.
Also the flange where the plates go and all of the hardware have rusted so bad that I broke 2 of the3 bolts trying to get them off. The whole system is loose as hell too. On top of that the sytstem is heavy as a ****!
I will be replacing this system with a lighter weight aluminized system like the Rubler or true duals.

if you want a cheap stainless system that sounds much better and still want a cut out...
get the magnaflow system shiped to your dor for about 340 and have someone weld a cutout in your y pipe and be done with it
much cheaper and performs better, sounds better, and the tips look 100 times better in my opinion

i agree on the tips looking nice, but borla with no cats does sound like ***, im ready for a change, maybe i'll keep the tips and have a place fab something to fit? like hooker or something... gmmg is nice but dont want to spend that much for another catback.
