March Fluid Damper or ATI Super Damper?
The engine will be a 383 all stroke. Will be used for Solo I and Solo II autocross and the occasional trip to the drag strip. It will spend lots of time in the upper RPMs. I don't think I will be spinning it over 6500. However, I have not decided on a cam yet.
So, if money was not an object in the decision, which damper should I get?
The ATI does seem to work really well above 6000 from what I have seen on the graph of its dampening.
I know the ATI is also ~$500. I dont' kow about the March one yet.
Thanks
Brad
Both are in stock.
I am still trying to find out if the March will work with AC. I do keep my AC operational since it gets hot in the car when I am waiting in the staging area before being able to hit the track
Only thing concerning me is that the ATI states "it helps eliminate crank torsional vibrations at 6000 plus RPMs". I won't be much above 6000 very often so I don't know if the fluid would be better below 6000?????
