Default Got my PaceSetter Long Tubes... PICS inside

Just got them in today. The coating is very nice, only a few nicks. The pipes are nice and smooth. The collectors look great, except for one that is a little bent, but will be cutoff anyways. They came with new header bolts, and some other hardware that I don't know what's for. Also came with new gaskets and a O2 sensor lengthening kit which I don't plan on using.

Got them from Speed Engineering in only 10 days. Thanks guys!

Still have them on the car. The quality between the two is identical, except the Pacesetter have MUCH cleaner primaries at the flange, and dont need any porting at all.

No, I have a bunch of other mods done since my last dyno. These are for more ground clearence, and dual 3" cutouts

More ground clearance than Macs?
I thought Macs provided the best clearance (depending on Y pipe etc.).

Well the headers wont give me more ground clearence, but Pacesetter have great ground clearence over other LT's. I need to rid the MACs because I am going to try to sell my dual system which will be easier when the headers are included. The whole new system with the Pacesetters, 2.5" catted y-pipe, and cat-back will give me more clearence than the duals I have right now. Sorry for the confusion

For maximum flow particularly if you have heads/cam you might want to grind out that excessive weld build up in that collector. I ground out my collectors and each tube is round and free of excessive weld.

Who are you going to have do the Y-pipe. As you know, I know someone somewhat local to you (Watsonville). I'm sure you have seen pics of mine on Norcal or here.

Muffler Tech in Sactown will do it. They did a pretty nice job on the duals so I trust they can do this also.

Yeah I can see what you mean, it does look like it was overwelded there and there is some interference with the tubes. is that a normal thing to have to do? Grind out some weld areas??
