I Cant offer an opinion on the Edelbrocks except to say that I think they are a tad too much header for most people. The 375 price is painted which will burn off instantly upon startup.
I can offer an opinion on the Pacesetter's because I just installed mine tonight. The passenger side, piece of cake. Just raised it staright into the car. The driver side, piece of pie only because I had to take 5 minutes or less to take the steering shaft loose and swing it up out of the way and then that header just popped right in. After they were torqued down they cleared EVERYTHING by a mile. I got big hands (13.5 ring finger) and I could put my hand all around the k member at the collectors. The coating was perfect. They have a nice thick 3/8" flange. At 375 bucks coated they cant be beat IMO.

Would installing a set of stepped headers be overkill on a LS1 with the G5X2 and PP LS6 heads? Do we have any sponsors that sell Edelbrock?
If these headers get close to the $600-$650-$700 won't they be treading on some 304 stainless headers that are in that neighborhood?

Well, I have a buddy going to Jegs tomorrow should I have him go ahead and pick me up a set of the Edelbrocks?
Right now I am bolt on only but will be doing a cam in the near future.
