Underdrive Pulley? which one?

Underdrive Pulley? which one? well...im looking at 2 and only 2...SLP or ASP...which one has better quality fabrication and build...they both claim 10 rwhp...and such...they do the same...its just how htey look....and function...
will these fit the 455 stroker i have planned in the future or will they needabe replaced by a specifc pulley for it?

Everyone uses the ASP, not sure why. Any SFI approved pulley should be sufficient, and the pulley will work fine with a different shortblock. Although I don't see why it would matter.

SLP's looks like it holds the belt in a bit of a slot...check it out guys?...is that actaully any good?...or it really wont serve any purpose what-so-ever?

the SLP looks more effective to me....and it looks like it has more improved design
however it says throwing belt is common but since i dont kno about pullies i woudlnt kno if thats true

With these being elastomer dampers. Is there any harm putting them on aftermarket rotating assemblies? Wouldnt a fluid type damper be better for different harmonics? Maybe im looking at it wrong, but wouldnt there be different harmonics from a stock rotating assembly to a forged set up?

I ordered the march pulley. A fluid damper for less than the ASP pulley, can't beat that (sdpc had them on sale). I don't know if i'd say it's not for looks, the stock pulley looks so crappy. If nothing else, i think it's easier to use the a harmonic balancer puller than a 3 arm puller, so that's a plus. Hey Ali G, why'd you take your mod list down?

What I meant was that we sould base our pulley choice on:
1- Harmonic absorbtion (the most important function) remember KR problems with ASP old design???
2- power
3- looks
4-weight (negligent as it is centrifugal weight)
